This week at the BIA we've got a Remodelers After Hours event at Monster J's Home Improvement in Irmo. The After Hours event is an open house at a member's place of business where members can network with each other and learn about products and services offered by the host. We'll get to know more about Monster J's as well as some other construction and real estate companies co-located in the same building. Attendees will enjoy food from Maurice's BBQ and drinks in this relaxed atmosphere. No charge to attend, but please RSVP in advance if you plan to come (click here).

Coming up soon is the M.P. Nieri BIA Bass Classic on May 6. Anglers launch at safe light in search of the five biggest Bass they can catch then head back to the Lighthouse Marina for the official Weigh-in and Bass Bash After Party sponsored by DR Horton. There will be cold drinks and a buffet-style late lunch, plus raffle prizes and cash prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams, Biggest Bass and Biggest Non-Game Fish. Sign up your 2-person boat for just $200 today! Participants are treated to breakfast thanks to McDonnell & Associates, late lunch thanks to 84 Lumber and beverages thanks to Resource Financial, as well as a gift sponsored by Clark's Termite & Pest Control.

If you're not into fishing you can join the fun from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. as the boats are coming in for the Weigh-in and Bass Bash After Party. Don't forget to order some BBQ for your Memorial Day weekend... we're taking orders for quarts of pulled pork and whole smoked Boston Butts now through Friday, April 13. We'll get together to pull the pork on Thursday, April 26 and orders will be ready on the 26th and 27th... just in time for Memorial Day Weekend!
