The Building Industry Association of Central South Carolina in conjunction with our Charitable Foundation has committed to build the six Centennial Park Pavilions at Fort Jackson.
We are excited that Covert Homes, Essex Homes, Great Southern Homes, Hood Construction and Mungo Homes have agreed to build a Pavilion with support from our industry partners. Additional information is available at
For over 100 years, Fort Jackson has provided the initial training for the US Army and today trains over 72,000 personnel each year. In addition to this vital mission, Fort Jackson’s economic impact in the Midlands, estimated at $2.3 billion, is huge providing 19,834 jobs and many home buyers. Centennial Park will serve as a place for the thousands of graduating trainees and their families to gather and serve as a gift to those soldiers who have served and trained here.
Your donation to the Building Industry Charitable Foundation will insure our pledge to provide the Pavilions debt free and demonstrate your patriotism and our support of the military.
Donations in support of Centennial Park are being accepted by the Building Industry Charitable Foundation, a South Carolina nonprofit 501 (c) (3) organization affiliated with the Building Industry Association of Central South Carolina, 625 Taylor Street,
Columbia, SC.
The Building Industry Charitable Foundation, Inc. was incorporated under S.C. law in 1993 as the HBA of Greater Charitable Foundation Inc. under bequest from the Home Builders Association of Greater Columbia, which provided the initial funding.  The foundation was established for the purpose of providing assistance to those less fortunate, or otherwise deserving, for the betterment of the community.  The Foundation accomplishes its purpose by assisting individuals, programs and organizations in need.
