Goldman Sachs 10,000 Businesses Program

The program is designed for business owners who are already operating and are thinking seriously about the next stage of growth. It is not theoretical coursework. The focus is practical:

• Managing employees

• The kind of strategic planning most owners rarely have time to do while running the day-to-day operation of their business.

Participants work through the curriculum with experienced advisors and alongside a group of other business owners who are dealing with many of the same challenges. By the end of the program, each participant develops a structured growth plan tailored to their own business.   

One of the things that makes the program distinctive is that it is offered at no cost to the participants. The tuition is fully funded by the Goldman Sachs Foundation. Graduates also become part of a national alumni network of more than 17,000 small business owners across the country, many of whom continue to share advice, contacts, and opportunities long after the program ends.
